Esmeralda and her friends Harry the Hammerhead and Danny the Angler Fish are Surface 71’s sculptures made out of trash from our ecosystem! In the past, they’ve been to the South Florida Science Center and to the Palm Beach County History Museum. Right now, they’re at Loggerhead Marina!

Emily is a freshman at University of Central Florida and has been working with Surface 71 since middle school. She loves to draw, sew, bake, and play video games!

Jemma is a a freshman at University of San Diego and has been working with Surface 71 since middle school. She loves surfing, working, and going on a boat for any reason really!
President
Marina is a sophomore at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and has been working with Surface 71 since elementary school. She enjoys going to the beach and swimming in the ocean!
Vice-President
Sahit is a senior at Suncoast High school in the Computer Science program. He joined Surface71 in 2021 and hopes to spread awareness about plastic pollution and other environmental issues through Surface71.
Treasurer
Jonnithan “Jonni” White is the SGA president at Lake Worth Community High School. He loves the outdoors and enjoys surfing, snorkeling, and working out.
Outreach Director
London is a junior at Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts and a junior intern Loggerhead Marine Center. She is interested in working with marine affairs in the future.
Social Media Executive
Tatiana is a junior at Forest Hill High School and is very dedicated and proactive when it comes to leadership. She is the junior Class president and SGA Vice-President. She hopes to major in the business field in the future.
Natalie is a sophomore at Suncoast High school in the IB program. She joined Surface 71 in an effort to raise awareness about water stations and reducing plastic water bottles. Natalie is a part of a rowing team and likes to sail and go to the beach.
